In order to challenge the roles of women in society, I use materials such as flowers, leaves, fruits, and vegetables to examine the cultural link between women and nature, and reclaim portrayals of women in social conditions where Asian women often cannot raise their voice, especially in the aspect of sex manifests. As the theme of Pulse Award mentioned, “We often talk about sex in very simplistic ways”, this line of inquiry has been important for me as a Vietnamese woman in modern society.”
