PULSE Gallery “Artist in Residence” Program
PULSE Gallery, under PULSE Social Enterprise, Artist in Residence Program invites artists to propose original multimedia projects to be realized during a period of residency. Proposals should challenge norms and thinking, broaden perspectives, demonstrate creativity and show an awareness of the aims of PULSE Social Enterprise.
PULSE GALLERY Residency Program will select proposals from international artists. Artists from all ages and any nationalities may apply.
About PULSE Gallery
PULSE Gallery has four locations across Bangkok; Phayathai, Phromphong and Silom. All four galleries contain spacious multipurpose space that can be used for exhibitions and hosting activities, workshops and performances. All are located adjacent to BTS stations, within a 1-minute walk for easy access. PULSE also has galleries in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Phuket.
Our flagship location at Ploenchit is used to exhibit the winners and finalists of the regional major event - PULSE Awards.
The aim of PULSE Gallery is to support artists and the arts community by offering space for anyone to facilitate dialogue, exchanges of experience and skills, and express their outstanding creativity through various disciplines of art, media and forms. Additionally, PULSE Gallery provides an exhibition space for the outcomes of the residence.
PULSE Gallery Residency Program
The program is located in Bangkok and applicants are invited to:
1. Submit work with a strong personal artistic vision for consideration or
2. Submit work specific to the requirements of a committee call for entries.
Please include:
a) An artist's statement (suggested length between 300–500 words). Consider discussing techniques and materials used, and/or themes addressed.
b) Proposed images of the works, with notes about suggested groupings. Images can be submitted as JPG, TIF, or PDF files emailed, or as photographic prints.
c) Attach your book or resume.
