&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Description:&lt;/strong&gt; Paintings of friends or strangers that visit my studio, I use my work to explore the fragile intimacy that hovers on the borders of sex, nakedness, and friendship. My friends come over to visit and take their clothes off for my art. Strangers find me on Instagram and ask to be invited over to take their clothes off. Nudity is a taboo subject in our everyday lives - just as sex is a taboo in traditional figurative art, so in my work, I look to document everyday scenes of casual nakedness as a way to look beyond these restrictions and to celebrate the homoerotic in an open and (ideally colorful and beautiful) way.&lt;/p&gt;
